Brown Cow Hill

Coach leaves at 07:00 from the corner of Midstocket  and Gordondale Road

Brown Cow Hill is an 823m Corbett.

The walk is 21km (13 miles) long. Duration is approximately 7 hours including stops.

The route is fairly straightforward using good land rover tracks and paths. Starting on the Old Military road, the route ascends Camock Hill. From here to Brown Cow Hill the going is undulating and follows the fence. We descend to Corgaff Castle where we will find the bus waiting. If time permits we will stop off in Ballater for refreshments on the way back, and then back to Aberdeen around 19:00.

There is a shorter walk option taking a more direct route back from Brown Cow Hill, towards Carn Oighreag and Clack Choutsaich to pick up landrover tracks down to rejoin the main route if there is a demand for this.
